What you can expect to learn:-

  • The history of coffee.
  • Dosing the coffee basket.
  • Tamping.
  • The rules of espresso extraction, the science behind extraction, volumetric and timing of extraction.
  • Extracting a coffee shot.
  • Advanced milk texturing techniques.
  • Specialty coffee menu including traditional coffees.
  • Grinder adjustment for beginners.
  • Cleaning the espresso machine.

Duration: 2 hours.

Location: 54 Bailey Crescent, Southport.

Maximum number of people: 4.

Comfortable, closed in shoes must be worn by participants.

An Introduction to Specialty Coffee Certificate will be issued on completion.

A minimum of 72 hours notice prior to commencement of the course is required for any cancellation and a full refund will be provided.

A minimum of 24 hours notice prior to commencement of the course is required to postpone or reschedule your attendance, following which a member of our team will be in touch with you to organise another date and time.

If less than 24 hours notice is provided to cancel, postpone, reschedule, or if a person is a no show to the course, the full course fee will be forfeited.
