Nicaragua HG Single Origin Coffee Beans
Nicaragua HG Single Origin Coffee Beans
Silipo Coffee only uses the best possible beans for our single origin coffees. We pride ourselves on working with farms around the world that supply outstanding beans whilst maintaining ethical and sustainable farming methods.
Known as the “Land of Lakes and Volcanos” coffee was first introduced to Nicaragua by German immigrants in around 1850. The industry was almost decimated by political upheaval and civil war through the 1980’s. Since bouncing back, coffee today is mainly produced in a small Northern pocket which consists of only five regions: Esteli, Jinotega, Madriz, Matagalpa and Nueva Segovia, each with its own microclimate.

This coffee is great for black and milk-based coffees.
Silipo is proud to partner with Project Waterfall. For every kilo of retail and wholesale coffee beans sold, Silipo donates 25 cents to help provide clean, sanitary water to coffee growing-communities across the world.
